Job Summary: We are seeking a Control Engineer or Industrial Automation Technologist with experience in electricity, electrical panel design and assembly, and electrical installations for industrial projects. Leading the Installation and Commissioning of Control Systems **DESCRIPTION**: A leading company in the metal-mechanical sector / manufacturer of conveyor equipment, located in Medellín, requires a Control Engineer and/or Industrial Automation Technologist for its industrial project line. Candidates must possess advanced knowledge in control and power electricity; advanced knowledge in panel design and assembly; knowledge in designing and drafting electrical schematics for industrial panels; experience in electrical installations, including motors and instrumentation. The candidate must demonstrate strong creative thinking to solve problems—from conceptualization through implementation—to meet specific requirements. The candidate must be resourceful, proactive, capable of working collaboratively and under pressure, and possess a high sense of responsibility and integrity. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** · Design, execution, assembly, and testing of electrical/control panels focused on industrial process automation. · Execution of electrical installation (wiring and conduits) from designed panels to each involved equipment unit. · Development of programming for various processes, considering project complexity. · Generation of electrical schematics, control diagrams, and equipment layout distribution plans, based on agreed-upon solutions per project specifications. · Leading the installation and commissioning of control and power panels, as well as all related sensors and other project-associated components. · Planning, organizing, and estimating aspects related to various technical proposals originating from the project evaluation department. · Planning, organizing, executing, and controlling aspects related to automation across different projects executed by the company. · Handling confidential information. · Integration of control systems and industrial communication systems. · Preparation of technical documentation (schematics, diagrams, reports, manuals). · Internal support to the project evaluation department regarding offered scopes. · Compliance with quality and occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines. **SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:** * Control Engineer and/or Industrial Automation Technologist. * Minimum experience: 3 years. * English proficiency level: Basic. * Willingness to travel: YES (high availability required for installations outside Medellín). * Salary: To be negotiated.
