Description
Job Summary:
Ensure operational continuity through the diagnosis, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, industrial machinery, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems
2. Diagnosis and support for automated systems (PLC, VFD, sensors)
3. Assembly and installation of new electrical panels and production lines
Ensure plant operational continuity by diagnosing, installing, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, industrial machinery, and equipment, strictly adhering to safety standards and energy efficiency requirements.
**1\.Preventive Maintenance:**
Conduct periodic inspections of electrical panels, transformers, motors, and distribution lines. Measure parameters such as voltage, current, and insulation resistance to detect anomalies before they cause failures.
**2\.Diagnosis and Repair (Corrective):** In response to contingencies.
Promptly address electrical faults in production machinery. Read and interpret electrical schematics and single-line diagrams to locate short circuits, ground faults, or defective components.
**3\.Programming and Automation:** Advanced systems.
Inspect, diagnose, and provide basic support for automated systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), and industrial sensors.
**4\.Assembly and Installation:** Continuous improvement.
Perform wiring, conduit installation, and assembly of new electrical panels or extensions of production lines, following technical specifications and local regulatory requirements.
* **Minimum Requirement:** Intermediate or Advanced Technician degree in Industrial Electricity, Electromechanics, Automation, or a related field.
* **Mandatory Certifications:** Valid electrical license or certification issued by your country’s regulatory authority—essential for signing off on or intervening in low- and medium-voltage installations.
