Job Summary: We are seeking a Technician or Technologist to perform machining operations on CNC lathes and milling machines, as well as conventional machines, following specifications and engineering drawings. Key Highlights: 1. Advanced operation of CNC and conventional machines. 2. CNC machine programming using SolidWorks and Mastercam. 3. Machining of various materials according to drawings and instructions. **JOB OBJECTIVE**: Execute assigned machining operations on CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, CNC machining centers, and conventional machines, in accordance with specifications and/or requirements stipulated in the Work Order Instructions (OTI) and engineering drawings. **RESPONSIBILITIES**: Develop programs for execution on CNC machines either directly at the machine or via the SolidWorks and Mastercam programming workstation. Perform assembly, alignment, and machining operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metallic materials, polymers, parts, structures, components, tools, and spare parts, based on provided drawings and/or instructions from the immediate supervisor. Record all performed activities in the Work Order Instructions (OTI) for each job. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**: Technician or Technologist degree in mechanical component design for manufacturing using CNC machine tools. This education must be supported by one (1) year of experience in CNC machining activities. Candidates designated as Quality Control Monitors must additionally possess: a metrological verification course and six (6) months of experience in quality control. **EXPERIENCE**: One (1) year of experience in duties related to this position. **SALARY**: $1,600,000 COP + transportation allowance and social benefits.
