Position Summary: We are seeking an English and writing teacher with experience in class planning, guidance, and assessment, as well as in designing pedagogical materials. Key Highlights: 1. Promotes critical reading skills and effective communication **Job Description:** Required Academic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages Education, English Education, Languages, Modern Languages, or related fields. * Professionals from other disciplines are also accepted if they hold **certified English training** (minimum B2 level). * Additional training in pedagogy or teaching is desirable. Experience: * Minimum **one (1) year of teaching experience**, preferably in Technical and Technological Higher Education (ETDH), technical education, or workforce training. * Experience in teaching the English language and in writing instruction, reading comprehension, and production of academic and technical texts. Specific Knowledge: * Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level or higher). * English teaching methodologies (communicative approach). * Grammatical rules and structuring of academic and technical texts. * Curriculum planning and design of evaluative activities. * Basic proficiency in office tools and virtual platforms. Main Responsibilities: * Plan, guide, and assess English and Text Composition classes. * Design instructional guides, workshops, and pedagogical materials aligned with the training program. * Evaluate students' academic performance and provide follow-up. * Promote critical reading skills, structured writing, and effective communication. * Comply with the institution’s academic and administrative guidelines. * Participate in academic meetings and continuous improvement processes.
