You will be responsible for creating and developing detailed drawings and 3D models of elevators, escalators, ramps, and special equipment, responding to and complying with factory-established criteria. This role is crucial to ensure projects meet the quality and accuracy standards required by our internal and external clients. On a typical day, your responsibilities will include:* Drawing Editing for Otis Clients: Learn and apply aesthetic and functional criteria when delivering drawings to internal and external clients. * 3D Modeling and Equipment Drawings: Model and create detailed drawings of elevators, escalators, ramps, and special equipment to ensure effective coordination with clients, applying BIM coordination knowledge to achieve a collaborative workflow both internally and externally. * Detailing in 3D Models and Drawings: Draw, model, and represent necessary details in 3D models and drawings, ensuring all project requirements are met. Apply knowledge of drawing expression to deliver specific components to clients, considering the scope of each contract. * Design Strategies for Information Exchange: Propose innovative strategies to facilitate the exchange of drawing information and 3D models within the company, improving drawing processes and information sharing at Otis. * Teamwork at Otis: Promote excellent teamwork and strong relationships across different company departments, including commercial, operations, administrative, and manufacturing teams. What you’ll need to succeed!* Education: Final semester student in Architecture or Civil Engineering eligible to sign an apprenticeship agreement. * Skills: Knowledge in generating and editing 2D drawings using AutoCAD and 3D modeling using Revit, as well as basic knowledge of BIM methodology implementation.
