Important company dedicated to the manufacturing of garments requires for its work team SEWING OPERATORS - BARRIOS UNIDOS: Basic primary education minimum with six (6) months experience in garment production. Person: Honest, responsible, proactive, able to work in a team and under pressure, oriented towards meeting quality standards. Position: Flatbed and/or overlock machine operator. Responsibilities: - Operate and supervise single, double or multiple needle sewing machines to join pieces, reinforce or decorate, and quilt garments and other articles made of fabric, leather, genuine leather or synthetic materials. - Operate and supervise single, double or multiple needle sewing machines to join garment pieces and other articles made of fabric, leather, genuine leather or synthetic materials. - Operate and supervise sewing machines to attach buttons, hooks, zippers, fasteners and other accessories to fabrics or textiles. - Operate and supervise sewing machines to join pieces of leather to achieve desired size and shape, and apply them to garments. - Program, operate and supervise embroidery machines, buttonhole machines, hemming machines, and other machines performing various operations in garment manufacturing and other products. - Monitor machine operation to detect issues such as defective stitching, thread breakage, and report malfunctions to supervisor or mechanic. - Monitor the operation of semi-automatic sewing machines equipped with multiple sewing heads controlled by pattern chains that apply various designs. - Perform related duties.
