**JOB OBJECTIVE**: Execute the various assigned operations in the machining process on: CNC lathe, CNC milling machine, CNC machining center, and conventional machines, according to specifications and/or requirements specified in the work order and drawings. **RESPONSIBILITIES**: Create programs to be run on CNC machines either at the machine site or in the programming computing center using Solidworks and Mastercam software. Perform assembly, alignment, and machining operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metallic materials, polymers, parts, structures, components, tools, and spare parts based on drawings and/or instructions provided by the immediate supervisor. Record all activities performed in the work order documentation. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**: Technician or technologist in mechanical component design for manufacturing using CNC machine tools. This qualification must be supported by one (1) year of experience in CNC machining activities. For positions designated as quality control monitors: completion of a metrological confirmation course and six months of experience in quality control is required.
