We are seeking an Electrical Sector Laboratory Technician with technical or technological training, responsible for interpreting and applying technical standards, conducting tests, and managing laboratory documentation.

Indefinite-term contract
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (as agreed with immediate supervisor)
Salary: $2\.250\.000 \+ transportation allowance \+ statutory benefits
The following responsibilities will be carried out:
1\. Familiarize with and interpret applicable technical standards for tests specified in the scope
2\. Update normative documents and the laboratory’s scope of accreditation
3\. Review technical changes between previous and new versions of normative documents
4\. Perform initial method verification based on clauses specified in normative documents
5\. Execute authorized tests
6\. Review, code, register, and photograph samples when laboratory services are provided
7\. Conduct control points for each laboratory service
8\. Operate test circuits, control consoles, and measurement equipment involved in tests within the laboratory’s scope
9\. Develop, update, and review technical procedures for executing tests within the laboratory’s scope
10\. Complete the test report review form for each service delivered
11\. Complete environmental conditions forms
12\. Complete traceability and service status forms for laboratory services
13\. Complete the final report delivery form to the client
14\. Perform preventive maintenance on laboratory test circuits and record it in the corresponding life-cycle log forms
15\. Control personnel access to laboratory areas
16\. Conduct annual method confirmation for each test and technique described in the laboratory’s scope
17\. Attend internal audits covering the laboratory’s scope
18\. Attend accreditation body audits, including initial accreditation, surveillance, and supplementary audits
19\. Report laboratory-specific quality indicators
20\. Identify deviations from the laboratory management system based on the current ISO/IEC 17025 standard or test procedures included in the scope, and implement actions to prevent or minimize such deviations
21\. Carry out laboratory activities authorized in the official authorization document issued for this purpose
22\. Prepare test reports generated in the laboratory
23\. Perform uncertainty calculations based on laboratory procedures
24\. Maintain statistical control of data recorded in the laboratory
25\. Prepare test circuits for test execution
26\. Manage actions addressing risks and opportunities associated with laboratory activities
27\. Conduct periodic reviews of technical documents according to the established tool.
