Lead a technical team, mentor engineers, and own delivery outcomes We are seeking an experienced **Lead Domino Developer \- API** to own the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of applications built and deployed on the Domino Data Lab platform. This role sits at the intersection of platform administration and software engineering, and requires someone who can both build robust applications and lead a team responsible for their long\-term stability and performance. **Responsibilities** * Develop Domino\-hosted applications end to end, guiding the team through platform\-specific design decisions and troubleshooting * Build, deploy, and maintain production applications on Domino, covering environment configuration, dependency management, and performance tuning * Administer and develop across Domino Workspaces, Environments, Projects, Data Sources, Jobs, Flows, App publishing, and model deployment * Write clean, maintainable, production\-grade code in Python as the primary development language * Build responsive, production\-grade web front ends for internal or client\-facing applications * Design and integrate REST APIs and microservice\-based pipelines to support application functionality * Deploy and troubleshoot containerized workloads on Kubernetes, including image optimization and cluster\-level debugging * Reason about architecture, cost, and security trade\-offs across cloud platform environments * Lead a technical team, including mentoring engineers, planning workload, and conducting design and code reviews * Own delivery outcomes for applications in production **Requirements** * 3\+ years of experience administering and developing on the Domino Data Lab platform, with proven hands\-on expertise across Workspaces, Environments, Projects, Data Sources, Jobs, Flows, App publishing, and model deployment * Experience building, deploying, and maintaining production applications, including environment configuration, dependency management, and long\-term application upkeep * Expertise in Python for production\-grade software development * Experience in ReactJS for building responsive, production\-grade web front ends * Working fluency in SQL, R, and Bash across the broader data science toolchain * Practical experience in Kubernetes and Docker, including deployment and troubleshooting on EKS, AKS, or GKE * Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform among AWS, Azure, or GCP * Strong track record designing REST APIs and microservice\-based pipelines * Experience leading a technical team, including mentoring, workload planning, and ownership of delivery outcomes * Proficiency in English at a B2\+ level **Nice to have** * Experience with Domino Nexus or hybrid/multi\-cloud compute orchestration * Exposure to MLOps practices, including model training, deployment, monitoring, and retraining pipelines * Practical experience with GenAI, LLMs, or agentic frameworks, including retrieval\-augmented generation (RAG) * Familiarity with orchestration tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, or Domino Flows * Understanding of model governance, compliance automation, or audit logging * Experience working in pharma, BFSI, or public sector environments **We offer** * International projects with top brands * Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers * Healthcare benefits * Employee financial programs * Paid time off and sick leave * Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses * Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000\+ courses * Global career opportunities * Volunteer and community involvement opportunities * EPAM Employee Groups * Award\-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn *EPAM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
