We are committed to providing exceptional service to our clients while pursuing the best possible outcomes for the people we represent. **Job Description:** We are seeking a full\-time remote Subrogation Assistant to provide support during the initial stages of the subrogation process for our personal injury clients. The ideal candidate must be bilingual (English\-Spanish). This is a independent contractor opportunity based in Colombia supporting a U.S. \-based law firm. **Key Responsibilities:** * Review and organize health insurance cards, lien information, and other documentation at the beginning of the subrogation process. * Ensure required documentation is accurately filed and maintained within the appropriate case management systems. * Prepare and send Letters of Representation (LORs) to appropriate insurance companies, lienholders, and other parties. * Obtain and organize analyst information to assist in determining whether cases should be escalated to Zipliens. * Assist with preliminary subrogation audits and reviews. * Maintain accurate and organized records of subrogation\-related activities, communications, and documentation. * Communicate with insurance companies, lienholders, healthcare providers, and other external parties as needed. * Provide attorneys and internal team members with necessary case information and documentation. * Track outstanding requests and follow up as appropriate. * Assist with identifying missing or incomplete information and bringing issues to the appropriate team member's attention. * Follow established processes and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive client and case information. * Perform other subrogation\-related support services as needed. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree, law degree, legal studies, or relevant professional experience preferred. * Experience in law, legal support, personal injury, insurance, compliance, claims, or a related field preferred. * Familiar with U.S. legal processes or personal injury law is a plus. * Strong written and verbal English communication skills. **Requirements:** * Knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Calendar, etc) * Ability to collect data and learn quickly * Fully Bilingual (English) * Must have your own reliable computer/laptop * Headset with noise cancellation / quiet place to work * Reliable high\-speed internet connection * You will be responsible for you local taxes Job Type: Full\-time, independent contractor Expected hours: 40 per week Compensation: $12\-$15 USD per hour Job Types: Full\-time, Contract Contract length: 12\-24 months Language: * English (Required) Work Location: Remote
