Job Summary: We are seeking a Buyer/Bid Sourcer for an American real estate group, focused on estimating requirements, managing tenders, and negotiating construction contracts. Key Highlights: 1. Based in Colombia, we collaborate with an international team to deliver high-level solutions in the American market. Key Responsibilities * Estimate preliminary investment requirements (CapEx) and divide projects into tender packages by specialty. * Distribute tender packages, identify and onboard new subcontractors, and prepare comparative bid tables. * Finalize detailed budgets and schedules prior to project commencement. * Manage material procurement and coordinate delivery logistics with suppliers. * Negotiate framework agreements, volume-based material pricing, and subcontractor contracts. * Monitor committed costs against budget and review supplier invoices to ensure accuracy. Requirements * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related fields. * Experience: 3–5 years in similar roles (estimating, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain within construction). * Knowledge: Ability to read construction drawings, understand material specifications, evaluate bids, and use estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Procore, or similar). * Advanced conversational and written English for direct communication with U.S.-based teams. What We Offer * Contract: Service provision agreement. * Salary: To be agreed upon \+ variable component tied to KPIs. * Location: Colombia (hybrid work model). * Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., aligned with Eastern Time (U.S.).
