Job Summary: Supervise administrative and operational activities to ensure a safe and efficient operation, managing team performance to drive standardization and continuous improvement. Promote standardization and continuous improvement. **POSITION:** Supervisor 1 **LOCATION:** Palmira **PURPOSE:** Administratively and operationally supervise the functioning of a safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help manage shift team performance in order to drive standardization, continuous improvement, and delivery of key objectives, operating under clear guidelines to help achieve operational standards established by both DHL and customers. Must develop and monitor strategies to improve processes and meet customer needs. **ROLE REQUIREMENTS:** * Technical degree or undergraduate student in early semesters of Logistics, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering. * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Advanced Excel. * Basic English is desirable or currently studying the language. * One (1) to three (3) years of experience in similar roles within the logistics field (warehousing and distribution), and at least one (1) year of personnel management experience. * Knowledge of shift scheduling. * Knowledge of continuous improvement tools. **SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:** * Data evaluation ability * Stress tolerance * High attention to detail and information accuracy. * Analytical and problem-solving ability. * Planning and organization. * Leadership * Independence. * Effective communication.
