At **EX Squared LATAM**, we are looking for a **Data Engineer** who enjoys designing, building, and optimizing data flows in **Azure Cloud** environments, collaborating with business and data science teams on high-impact international projects. **What you will do** * Design and maintain data pipelines in Azure Data Factory, integrating multiple sources (relational databases, NoSQL, APIs, files). * Create efficient data flows for ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT), applying best practices in automation. * Develop notebooks and processes in Azure Databricks using PySpark, oriented toward Medallion architectures (Bronze/Silver/Gold). * Configure and manage secure connections to Azure Data Lake (ABFSS, Unity Catalog, Key Vault). * Participate in data modeling for analytical consumption (star schema, snowflake, Data Vault). * Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions. * Monitor pipeline performance and optimize data quality, efficiency, and security. **What you need to succeed** * 5+ years of experience working with Azure Data Factory or similar data integration tools. * Knowledge of Azure Databricks and PySpark, with a willingness to deepen expertise in this environment. * Experience in data modeling and handling Data Lakes or Lakehouse architectures. * Strong proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python for automation or data transformation. * Understanding of governance, security, and deployment concepts (DevOps / CI/CD) in cloud environments. * Ability to solve problems systematically, document your work, and learn independently. **Why join EX Squared** At **EX Squared LATAM**, we drive technical talent across the region.
