More information: http://coderio.com In this role, you will join the backend development area to quickly integrate into a dynamic team operating at a high pace, where deliverable quality is non-negotiable. The project core runs on Java and features an event-driven architecture, with Kafka as its central component. You will become part of an ecosystem demanding a high degree of autonomy, rapid learning ability, and proactive execution from day one. ### **What You Can Expect From This Role (Responsibilities)** * Development and maintenance of efficient microservices using Java. * Implementation, design, and consumption of events with Kafka in asynchronous systems. * Robust design and integration of asynchronous processes within the platform architecture. * Close collaboration with the Technical Leader on technical decision-making and architecture definition. * Active participation in code reviews to ensure technical quality and in the team's agile ceremonies. * Supporting the QA team in defining and validating technical test cases. ### **Requirements** * Proven senior-level experience (3+ years) as a Backend Developer using Java and the Spring Boot framework (Mandatory). * Practical, verifiable experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ or equivalents) (Mandatory). * Solid understanding and hands-on experience with asynchronous processing patterns and event-driven architectures (Mandatory). * Experience working under agile development methodologies (Mandatory). * Immediate availability to join a project with guaranteed duration until December 2025 (Mandatory). * Excellent communication skills, problem-solving autonomy, and adaptability to high-pressure environments. ### **Desirable** * Prior experience in Fintech, payment solutions, or transactional processing (Visa, Mastercard, payment gateways). * Knowledge or experience working with NoSQL databases or distributed data architectures. * Technical or conversational English proficiency (considered a plus for this project). ### **Benefits** * Long-term commitment, with autonomy and impact on the business core. * A strategic, highly visible role within a modern engineering culture. * An international, dynamic, and collaborative team with strong technical leadership. * Career development plan, growth, and continuous development opportunities within Coderio. ### **Why Join Coderio?** At Coderio, we value talent regardless of location.
