Job Description At **Camargo Eléctricos S.A.S.**, an electrical engineering company, we are seeking an **Electrical Design and Projects Coordinator**, responsible for comprehensively leading the development of electrical grid projects—from technical and economic proposal structuring, design and budget preparation, to project planning, monitoring, and closure. We seek a professional with strong leadership ability, results orientation, and solid technical and project management expertise—capable of ensuring the achievement of the company’s project objectives related to cost, schedule, and quality. Main Responsibilities * Lead the electrical design and project management area. * Prepare, review, and approve low- and medium-voltage electrical designs. * Prepare technical and economic proposals, budgets, and quotations. * Build, administer, and control project schedules using Microsoft Project. * Manage projects according to PMI guidelines and agile methodologies. * Coordinate and supervise the development of electrical grid projects. * Prepare calculation reports, technical specifications, and engineering documentation. * Coordinate procedures and requirements with network operators and other competent authorities. * Lead and coordinate technical design and project teams. * Monitor physical and financial progress of projects. * Manage risks, changes, and deviations in projects. * Participate in technical and commercial meetings with clients. * Implement and coordinate the use of BIM methodology in projects. * Sign, endorse, and submit electrical designs, calculation reports, and other engineering documents to network operators and competent authorities, acting as the technical responsible for the projects. * Address and manage technical observations issued by network operators and regulatory entities until required approvals are obtained. RequirementsAcademic Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrotechnical Engineering. * Valid professional license issued by COPNIA. Experience * Minimum five (5) years of experience in electrical grid project design and management. * Experience leading technical teams. * Experience preparing technical and economic proposals. * Experience designing low- and medium-voltage electrical grids. * Experience managing engineering and construction projects. Technical Knowledge * RETIE. * RETILAP. * Colombian Technical Standards (NTC). * Network operator requirements. * Electrical grid design. * Project management under PMI standards. * Agile methodologies. * Risk management and project control. Software Proficiency (MANDATORY) ✅ Autodesk Revit – Advanced level. ✅ BIM methodology – Advanced level. ✅ AutoCAD – Advanced level. ✅ Microsoft Project – Advanced level. ✅ Microsoft Excel – Advanced level. ✅ Microsoft Office – Intermediate or advanced level.
