Manage contractors and operational budgets Facilities Coordinator – Shopping Centers (Barranquilla) We are looking for a professional with solid experience in Facilities Management to lead the integrated operations of shopping centers in Barranquilla. You will be responsible for ensuring operational continuity of assets, supervising maintenance of critical systems, managing contractors, controlling operational budgets, and ensuring compliance with SLAs, KPIs, regulatory requirements, and safety standards. You will serve as the primary point of contact during operational situations and emergencies, leading continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong service orientation, technical leadership, financial management skills, and experience in highly complex operational environments. Position Conditions * City: Barranquilla, Colombia. • Work Mode: On-site. • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with possible Saturday work. • Availability for after-hours emergency response when required by operations. Academic Qualifications * Electrical Engineer • Electromechanical Engineer • Mechanical Engineer or Civil Engineer. • Engineer • Valid professional license. • Preference for specialization in Maintenance, Asset Management, Facilities Management, or Project Management. Experience * Minimum 3 years managing shopping centers or large-format real estate assets. • Experience managing maintenance contracts and specialized vendors. • Experience managing operational budgets (OPEX). • Experience leading technical staff and contractors. • Experience managing performance indicators (KPIs and SLAs). Technical Knowledge * Medium- and low-voltage electrical systems. • Emergency power plants. • UPS and backup systems. • HVAC and air conditioning systems. • Fire detection and suppression systems. • Hydrosanitary networks. • Energy management. • Preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. • RETIE, RETILAP, and industrial safety regulations. • CMMS system management (SAP PM, Maximo, Corrigo, Planon, or similar). • Intermediate or advanced Excel proficiency. Responsibilities * Ensure operational continuity of the shopping center. • Supervise execution of maintenance programs. • Coordinate and manage maintenance and service providers. • Respond to and lead management of emergencies and critical incidents. • Ensure compliance with contractual SLAs and KPIs. • Conduct operational inspections and technical audits. • Prepare management reports and operational performance summaries. • Control budgets, purchase orders, and invoicing. • Implement continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives. • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and applicable regulations. • Maintain close and effective relationships with the client and shopping center management. • Lead the assigned technical team and promote a culture of service and compliance.
