Job Summary: Responsible for planning, scheduling, and controlling maintenance activities for mining and construction equipment, ensuring equipment availability and performance. Key Highlights: 1. Analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuous improvement. **Purpose of the Position:** * As a Maintenance Planner, you will support the Contract Services Resident in Mining and Construction units by ensuring proper planning, scheduling, and control of maintenance activities for equipment under responsibility. Additionally, you must ensure equipment availability and performance through implementation of maintenance programs, KPI tracking, and constant coordination with customers, suppliers, and internal departments, complying with OEM standards, safety requirements, and budget constraints. **Main Responsibilities:** * Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for equipment according to OEM standards upon customer request. * Weekly scheduling of preventive (planned) and corrective maintenance activities for equipment under contract. * Supervise execution of preventive and corrective maintenance services upon customer request. * Prepare, monitor, and analyze management indicators (KPIs), backlog, and daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports. * Manage and track purchase orders for spare parts and spare parts requests for maintenance services (DRP). * Conduct spare parts inventory audits for customer consignment stock, including identification and management of low-turnover items. * Maintain ongoing communication with project customers to report KPI status, program compliance, and monthly or biweekly reports. * Prepare technical failure reports for equipment, failure mode analysis, equipment accidents, and working conditions. * Coordinate with customers all work related to equipment under responsibility as required. * Coordinate with headquarters for specialized technical support and necessary logistical assistance. * Provide technical, logistical, and commercial support to the Parts and Services department. * Manage assigned technical personnel regarding task scheduling, workload distribution, vacations, leave, and training upon customer request. * Comply with and promote the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH\-SMS) guidelines and EHS standards. * Perform other planning-related duties assigned by your direct supervisor. **Requirements:** * Technical, technological, or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. * Five years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance activities within mining, construction, or similar industrial environments. * Experience with maintenance management systems, administration, logistics, and planning. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Power BI (PBI). * Ability to prepare and analyze technical reports, management indicators, and budgets. * Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, safe work procedures, and use of PPE. * Intermediate English proficiency. * Valid driver's license, Category B1\.
