




Job Summary: The Plant Operator in Colombia is responsible for executing operations related to the receipt, quality verification, storage, and dispatch of fuels, biofuels, and additives. The Plant Operator in Colombia performs daily duties, responsible for executing operations related to the receipt, quality verification, storage, and dispatch of fuels, biofuels, and additives at distribution terminals. **Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):** * Execute receipt and dispatch procedures for fuel products via pipeline, tankers (where applicable), and bio-additives via tanker trucks. * Manage product scheduling and dispatch via loading racks using digital tools such as SICOM, SAP, SIGDI, or any other tools used for these purposes going forward. * Perform reconciliations and inventory control for received products (surpluses & shortages). * Verify quantities and quality parameters of received and dispatched products. * Sample products from tanks and tanker trucks. * Conduct product quality tests using basic laboratory testing equipment. * Drain and transfer products between tanks. * Manage and control safety and work permits within the plant (Safe Work Practices). * Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities, including tanker truck inspections. * Train drivers. * Provide operational support to other terminals when required. **Requirements:** * Technical degree or Engineering degree (industrial, electromechanical, or related fields) * Minimum 3 years of experience in plant operations and/or the petroleum industry. * Experience using computers and Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, APPS, and others). * Leadership skills for process execution. * Ability and willingness to lead and be led when working in teams. * Excellent communication skills. * Ability to work under pressure. * Analytical capability. * Administrative experience and knowledge. * Willingness to acquire competencies as an industrial facility emergency response team member. **Desired Qualifications:** * Technical English * SAP knowledge * Certifications in safe work practices and issuance of work permits. * Experience supervising maintenance and operations teams. **Relocation Options:** **No** relocation is offered for this position.
