Position **Accounting Assistant** Company **Agregados La Roca S.A.S.** Location Yumbo, Valle del Cauca Contract Type Indefinite-term contract Salary One (1) current Legal Minimum Monthly Wage (SMMLV), plus transportation allowance **Job Objective** To support the accounting department by timely and accurate recording of financial information, document control, and execution of administrative tasks related to accounting—thereby contributing to legal compliance and proper corporate information management. **Academic Qualifications** * Technician, technologist, or student of Public Accounting (minimum fourth semester). * Knowledge of accounting processes and office software will be valued. **Experience** * Preferably six (6) months of experience in similar roles. * Internships or verifiable experience in accounting functions are acceptable. **Knowledge Requirements** * Basic accounting. * Accrual of purchase and sales invoices. * Bank reconciliations. * Management of physical and digital files. * Preparation of accounting vouchers. * Excel proficiency (basic or intermediate level). * Basic knowledge of withholding taxes and other taxes. * Familiarity with accounting software is desirable. **Main Responsibilities** * Record accounting documents in the system. * Prepare income, expense, and journal vouchers. * Assist with bank account reconciliations. * Organize and safeguard accounting documentation. * Support accounts payable and accounts receivable management. * Verify proper legalization of accounting supporting documents. * Assist in preparing reports requested by the accounting department. * Perform physical and digital archiving of documentation. * Support documentary inventories when required. * Comply with company internal policies, procedures, and regulations. * Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor related to the position. **Competencies** * Organization and planning. * Attention to detail. * Honesty and integrity. * Responsibility. * Teamwork. * Capacity for learning. * Results orientation. * Confidential handling of information. **Working Hours** Full-time, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays until 12:00 pm, in compliance with current legal working hours.
