




Job Summary: Support the loading, transportation, and unloading of units, ensuring timely delivery and handling the corresponding documentation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support in loading and unloading freight vehicles. 2. Training skills, composure, and customer orientation. 3. Assistance in dispatching, receiving, labeling, and inventory control. Loading and Unloading Assistant: Role: Support Knowledge Area: Loading and unloading of freight vehicles. Other Knowledge: Basic knowledge of goods and warehouse logistics. Competencies: Training skills, composure, customer orientation, active listening ability, and prioritization capability. Overall Objective: Ensure loading, transportation, and unloading of units in compliance with defined procedures at each stage and guarantee on-time delivery. Load and unload units against delivery notes and/or manifests, distributing cargo weight evenly across the entire surface of the van, and verifying labels, packaging condition, and shipment contents. ✓ Demand cash-on-delivery or collect-on-delivery payment; otherwise, neither receive nor deliver the goods, respectively. ✓ Assist in dispatching, receiving, labeling, and storage of products, and report inventory control to the Operations and Warehouse Manager or Operations Supervisor, as per established guidelines. ✓ Assist in vehicle parking and positioning. ✓ Classify and zone goods at the dock/van to ensure rapid identification for respective loading and unloading. ✓ Complete and settle delivery notes (cash, collect-on-delivery, credit). ✓ Report all suspicious situations occurring during daily operations to the Operations and Warehouse Manager. Immediately report by telephone any incidents to Customer Service or the Operations and Warehouse Manager, and wait at least 10 minutes to confirm and implement the agreed-upon solution with the customer. ✓ Maintain the vehicle clean and in optimal condition. ✓ Perform goods preparation and audit at the client’s premises as designated by the Operations and Warehouse Manager. ✓ Handle paperwork (manifests, delivery notes, waybills) related to the route. **IF THE LOADING AND UNLOADING ASSISTANT TRAVELS WITH THE DRIVER, THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE CARRIED OUT BY THE LOADING AND UNLOADING ASSISTANT:** ✓ Immediately record deliveries in the mobile application. ✓ Receive paperwork (delivery notes and manifests) from the logistics and distribution point, verifying that all documents are fully completed and that funds—where applicable—are included. ✓ Complete the route revenue control sheet, obtaining signatures from both the delivery point and the company-designated responsible person confirming receipt of funds. ✓ Deliver paperwork (completed delivery notes and manifests) daily to the Documentation Department or Operations Supervisor, as required. ✓ Complete and settle cash, credit, and collect-on-delivery delivery notes, filling in all fields (declared value, recipient, sender, addresses, phone numbers, additional kilograms, handling fee, and date). ✓ Deliver delivery note booklets to reception and distribution points. ✓ Verify that every vehicle entry and exit is always associated with a manifest (customer, distribution, and/or transfer).
