Support in pre-legal processes and preparation of case files A reputable financial sector company is seeking a Collection Agent specialized in bank portfolios, focused on recovering overdue (charged-off and pre-legal) accounts, with strong negotiation, analytical, and results-driven capabilities. Main Responsibilities: Comprehensive management of bank portfolio collections (consumer loans, payroll-deductible loans, credit cards, etc.). Telephone, digital, and in-person contact with debtors and/or co-debtors. Negotiation of payment agreements aligned with the client's financial capacity, per banking institution guidelines. Recovery of charged-off portfolios with delinquency exceeding 1,000 days. Analysis of the client's financial information to structure alternative payment options. Debtor location and data investigation (skip tracing). Rigorous follow-up on payment commitments and agreement compliance. Handling, review, and control of negotiable instruments (promissory notes, bills of exchange, etc.). Timely updating and recording of collection activities in internal applications. Generation of activity reports and performance against key performance indicators (KPIs). Database management and portfolio segmentation using office productivity tools. Support in pre-legal processes and preparation of case files for legal collection, where applicable. Compliance with collection policies and current financial sector regulations. Requirements: Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in bank portfolio collection, preferably charged-off portfolios (+1,000 days delinquency). Experience handling financial products (credit cards, consumer loans, etc.). Advanced Excel proficiency (filters, pivot tables, database cross-referencing, data analysis). Excellent negotiation skills, assertive communication, and results orientation. Knowledge of pre-legal and/or legal portfolio management (desirable). Proficiency in office productivity tools and collection management systems. High stress tolerance and goal achievement discipline. Immediate availability.
