**Aircraft Systems Engineer**
In this role, you will ensure the maintenance of airworthiness through technical\-administrative solutions in collaboration with strategic departments and suppliers, providing specialized support, ensuring aircraft systems integrity, and complying with the highest aviation, reliability, safety, and regulatory requirements. You will optimize company resources, drive continuous improvement projects balancing economic efficiency, industry standard compliance, and operational needs fulfillment, as well as lead aircraft modification campaigns to achieve objectives set by the company and the Vice Presidency.
**Specific Responsibilities**
* Ensure implementation, management, control, and monitoring of Airworthiness Directives (ADs), regulatory requirements, and applicable aviation standards for the fleet, ensuring timely compliance with directives issued by Aviation Authorities and guaranteeing continued airworthiness, operational safety, and legal compliance of aircraft and their components.
* Manage, develop, and control engineering technical documentation required for operation, maintenance, preservation, and reactivation of aircraft and fleet components, covering most ATA chapters of aircraft operated by the company, including EODs, JICs, minor modifications, regulatory manuals, technical procedures, and specialized programs, ensuring correct implementation, traceability, and control within corporate maintenance systems.
* Lead execution of high-impact operational and economic technical campaigns, strategic projects, modification programs, preservation/reactivation initiatives, and operational software updates for the fleet, managing and providing technical support for high-impact investment and maintenance budgets for the company, participating in acquisition strategy definition, technical evaluation, and negotiation with manufacturers, suppliers, and contracting departments for implementation of campaigns, modifications, and high-investment technical solutions for the fleet, ensuring achievement of technical, regulatory, operational, and financial objectives.
* Provide real-time specialized technical support to MCC, maintenance teams, suppliers, manufacturers, aviation authorities, and other company departments, addressing operational events, AOGs, technical campaigns, preservation/reactivation, aircraft incorporation, return, exchange, and other critical operational situations, ensuring prompt return-to-service and fleet operational continuity.
* Manage technical relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and aviation authorities, participating in audits, technical evaluations, certifications, and aircraft incorporation, return, and exchange processes within the fleet.
* Administer and ensure technical integrity, configuration, and control of the fleet in corporate maintenance systems (AMOS and associated platforms), including hardware and software component control, configuration trees, traceability of life-limited components, digital signatures, update, distribution, and control of operational software installed on aircraft, including but not limited to Navigation Data Base (NDB), Terrain Data Base (TDB), ATSU, and related systems.
* Administer and control specialized fleet technical programs, including Weight and Balance, Electrical Loads (ELA), landing gear overhaul and replacement, ELT/NOAA records, and other programs assigned to the department, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, operational, and safety standards required by the company and aviation authorities.
* Execute and ensure compliance with responsibilities, functions, and authorities assigned to this position within applicable regulatory and organizational manuals, including the Maintenance Control Manual (MCM) and other documentation approved by relevant aviation authorities.
**Check\-in / Requirements to Board**
* Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, aircraft and component technical support, or activities related to airworthiness management, within an air operator or an approved maintenance organization.
* Proficiency in AMOS.
* Desired knowledge of 787\-320\-330 fleet. Desired knowledge of aircraft software.
* AD analysis, Service Bulletins, preparation of engineering orders/documents
* English level: B2
