Position Summary: We are seeking an Advanced Cybersecurity Engineer to administer, support, and operate web application firewalls, providing tactical insights to enhance security controls. Key Highlights: 1. Web Application Firewall (WAF) administration and support. 2. Proactive response to customer requirements. 3. Technical recommendations for service improvement. CYBERSECURITY ADVANCED ENGINEER 5 hours ago Description Professional degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields, verified via a copy of the professional degree certificate or graduation transcript. At least five (5) years of experience in cybersecurity and four (4) years of specific experience in web application firewall (WAF) control (Imperva, Cloudflare), focused on administration, support, and operation. Proactively address customer requirements in accordance with established policies and procedures at mid-to-senior levels. Provide tactical insights to improve operated controls and deliver technical recommendations regarding service delivery. Requirements Currently, WAF Imperva control management is handled by the Networking Security Engineer. Within service delivery, we have experienced gaps in event diagnostics, as the current resource lacks application-level knowledge for review and analysis; this has led to escalations from the customer. As an improvement action, we require adding a specialist to cover this control’s management and, in the future, to assume Cloudflare management, which is currently handled by the customer.
