**Job Description**
Position description:
Perform corrective, preventive maintenance, and improvements on plant electrical equipment in compliance with industrial electrical standards to minimize downtime.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Periodically inspect the Plant’s electrical installations to assess their condition.
Carry out necessary operations to prevent damage to machinery, equipment, power transmission systems, and lighting installations across high- and low-voltage circuits.
Repair electrical damage occurring in machines, equipment, and Company facilities.
Assemble and install new units.
Participate in immediate verification of proper equipment operation following power outages.
Be responsible for the condition and maintenance of equipment and/or perform inspection and preventive maintenance activities, documenting them in established formats for each piece of equipment.
Based on user reports regarding equipment, identify root causes of issues and implement solutions.
Record all activities in the daily shift report.
Execute new equipment installation tasks per the Coordinator’s instructions, adhering to manufacturer specifications and Plant requirements.
Document all performed activities in the daily shift report and submit it to the Area Coordinator.
Conduct repairs on Plant electrical systems—including lighting systems, motors with starters, resistance panels, and cable transport ducts—based on user reports and the Coordinator’s scheduling.
Perform inspections on such equipment as requested by the Area Coordinator and document them in established formats.
**Requirements** **Academic Qualifications**
Technical or Technologist degree in Industrial Electricity. Knowledge of industrial automation systems (PLCs), motor starters, and variable frequency drives. Electrician Technician Certificate issued by CONTE
**Work Experience**
Two years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
**Specific Job Knowledge**
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer tools
RETIE regulatory compliance
Assembly of distribution panels and motor starters
Motor wiring
Lighting systems
Industrial automation
Variable frequency drive operation
Electrical diagram interpretation
