Position Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical Technician or Technologist with experience in naval mechanics, shaft alignment, use of measurement equipment, and propulsion systems. Key Highlights: 1. Naval mechanical experience 2. Knowledge of propulsion and steering systems 3. Operation of measurement and alignment equipment A Mechanical Technician or Technologist with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required. Competencies required include: * Advanced knowledge of naval mechanics. * Shaft\-gearbox\-engine alignment on a vessel. * Proficient use of measurement equipment such as micrometers. * Knowledge of vessel propulsion and steering systems. * Advanced height safety training. * Confined space entry training.
