




Position Summary: We are seeking a QA Governance Associate to define, implement, and strengthen the QA Governance model, ensuring consistency and effectiveness of quality assurance and testing practices in technology. This position is available for **Bogotá, Colombia.** **Mission:** Define, implement, and strengthen the organization’s QA Governance model through processes, standards, metrics, and controls. Ensure consistency and effectiveness of quality assurance and testing practices. Design and maintain quality frameworks that ensure delivery of reliable and secure software. Align QA practices with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements of the financial sector. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design and implement the QA Governance model (processes, policies, testing standards) * Define end\-to\-end testing strategy for critical projects (core banking, asset management, digital platforms), prioritizing test cases by risk and business value. * Establish entry and exit criteria (QA gates) * Centralize and standardize QA documentation * Implement baseline metrics (defects, coverage, re\-work). Develop executive dashboards and reports for business and technology stakeholders. * Monitor and control QA and testing teams * Conduct periodic QA reviews/audits * Define QA stabilization and improvement plans * Control and align the administration, usage, and evolution of test environments. Ensure environments properly support the certification lifecycle, reduce risks, and maintain stability **Position Requirements:** * Professionals in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields. * Management and knowledge of all functions within a Quality Control area * Minimum 5 years of experience in processes, auditing, or governance in traditional or hybrid environments including: + Application Testing + IT Governance + Process Optimization + Project Management + Financial and Budget Management + Financial industry (desirable) + Vendor Management (desirable) * Intermediate English (desirable) **Technical Knowledge** * ITIL, PMI, ISTQB, or other methodologies and standards * QA models (V\-Model, structured traditional testing) * Evidence and documentation management * Quality control and auditing * Defect management * Process and standard definition * Industry\-specific applications/technologies for the financial sector (desirable)
