A leading mattress industry company is currently recruiting a commercial profile to join its point-of-sale team. The company is organizing a major home fair and requires professionals with a clear focus on sales and customer service, capable of advising customers in selecting sleep products. The position includes responsibilities as a commercial advisor, store leader, and rotating leader (based on experience), with direct accountability for public interaction, sales management, and proper store operation. The position is located in Medellín, and hiring will be conducted through an immediate recruitment process targeting candidates with solid experience in modern retail. What do we offer? Base salary equivalent to the current legal minimum wage plus all statutory benefits and the mandatory transportation allowance. Estimated monthly average salary between 3 and 4 million Colombian pesos, fully inclusive of statutory benefits, depending on achieved commercial results. Uncapped performance-based commissions linked to sales volume. Overtime and surcharge payments in accordance with current labor legislation, including compensation for work performed on Sundays and holidays. Work schedule from Sunday to Sunday, with one compensatory day per week, respecting labor regulations and store operational planning. What profile are we seeking? Candidate with completed high school education, providing sufficient foundational training to handle the administrative and commercial tasks of the daily role. Proven, substantial experience in the modern retail sector, including hands-on involvement in store operations and direct interaction with end consumers. Prior track record in face-to-face sales, with ability to articulate product benefits, manage objections, and close transactions in an organized manner.
