· About the Role
We are looking for a GL Systems Support Specialist responsible for the configuration, continuous support, and maintenance of the General Ledger (GL) system across all supported payroll engines.
This role ensures accurate system configuration, stable day-to-day operations, and reliable integration between the GL and auxiliary systems. Additionally, the role works closely with external customers to gather necessary information for successful implementations, ensuring reporting accuracy, system compliance, and change control in production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and maintain General Ledger (GL) system components.
Diagnose and resolve GL-related issues, including payroll errors.
Monitor GL processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
Support daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Ensure adherence to project deadlines.
Maintain timely communication with customers via email and telephone.
Support maintenance of customer GL files (updates, missing accounts, etc.).
Serve as the primary point of contact for GL-related incidents and requests.
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues.
Log, prioritize, and document incidents and changes until resolution.
Requirements and Skills
Minimum 1 year of experience configuring or supporting General Ledger (GL) systems or enterprise systems in production environments.
Experience supporting HRIS or enterprise systems (payroll, time tracking) is desirable.
Excellent customer service skills and effective communication abilities (verbal and written).
Experience working with U.S.-based customers is a plus.
Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments.-Requirements- Minimum Education: High School Diploma / Secondary Education
