Job Summary: A major steel products manufacturing company is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to ensure plant operational continuity through equipment maintenance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Carry out corrective and preventive activities on production lines. 2. Ensure equipment reliability and availability. 3. Prepare spare parts and maintain order in workshops. A leading steel products manufacturer is currently seeking an Electromechanical Technician to support maintenance processes and ensure plant operational continuity. Main Responsibilities: Perform corrective maintenance activities in response to failures, shutdowns, or malfunctions on production lines. Carry out preventive maintenance according to the established monthly plan. Ensure reliability and availability of production and auxiliary equipment. Interpret electrical diagrams. Prepare maintenance reports and incident logs at the end of each shift. Prepare spare parts and replacement components to optimize future assemblies. Maintain order and cleanliness in workshops and spare parts warehouses. Requirements Education: Technician or Technologist degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanics, Electricity, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Experience in industrial, preventive, and corrective maintenance. Knowledge of electrical diagram interpretation. Availability to work rotating shifts. Working Conditions Salary: COP $2,000,000 + statutory benefits. Schedule: Monday to Saturday, rotating shifts: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Availability to work at least one Sunday per month, as required by operational needs.
