




Job Summary: A leading company in the food sector requires a Kitchen Assistant to support operations, ensuring food preparation, plating, inventory control, hygiene maintenance, and patron service. Maintain order, cleanliness, and hygiene in kitchen and dining areas. A prominent food-sector company responsible for cafeteria management and institutional food services requires a Kitchen Assistant to support operations at one of its locations in Yumbo, Valle del Cauca. Requirements Minimum 6 months’ experience in institutional kitchens, cafeterias, or mass food service. Availability to work rotating shifts. Basic knowledge of food hygiene and handling. Strong service orientation and ability to follow instructions. Motorcycle and up-to-date documentation are mandatory. Main Responsibilities Execute the Head Chef’s instructions regarding food assembly, preparation, cooking points, portioning, and presentation. Perform plating processes according to established standards. Conduct product and raw material counts to ensure proper inventory control. Maintain order, cleanliness, and hygiene in cold kitchens, hot kitchens, and other work areas. Prepare, bake, and fry foods according to the daily menu. Support mise en place for meal plans, menus, and special events. Serve patrons, ensuring timely and high-quality service. Perform general cleaning tasks in the kitchen and service dining area as scheduled. Contract Type: Project-based or task-based. Work Modality: On-site. Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Salary: Minimum Monthly Legal Wage (SMMLV) plus statutory benefits.
