Job Summary: Experienced technician in transmission and engine repair, powertrain diagnosis, including interpretation of electrical schematics and use of diagnostic scanners. Key Highlights: 1. Ability to interpret electrical schematics and perform diagnosis using a scanner MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN IN IBAGUÉ RESPONSIBILITIES: *Knowledge of general transmission and/or engine repair (from diagnosis to comprehensive repair) *Knowledge of powertrain diagnosis and repair, desirable for the following vehicle brands: Kenworth, Faw, Scania, Shacman, International, DAF *Interpretation of electrical schematics (for fault diagnosis) *Knowledge of diagnosis using an in-vehicle scanner system *Diagnosis of engine noises *Diagnosis of engine power loss *Diagnosis of loud noises from the differential *Performance of preventive maintenance (adjusting differentials and transmissions, valve inspections) MUST HOLD A CLASS B1 DRIVER'S LICENSE OR HIGHER. EXPERIENCE: One year.
