Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring the proper legalization of travel expenses and the accurate registration of accounts payable, verifying compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting principles. Key Highlights: 1. Verification of the legalization of drivers' travel expenses. 2. Registration and accrual of accounts payable in the system. 3. Creation and updating of third parties in the master database. POSITION: ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT EXPERIENCE: One year in the position. PROFESSION: Accounting Technician or Technologist. Primary Function: Ensure the correct legalization of drivers' national travel expenses in accordance with accounting principles and current regulations, to provide timely, reliable, and accurate information facilitating controls, analysis, and decision-making in operations. · Responsibilities: Reviews travel expense legalization for driver branches, verifying that physical supporting documents (invoices, equivalent documents) comply with legal requirements established by the DIAN and are authorized by operations to proceed with accounting accrual. Monitors the effective legalization of travel expenses by drivers. . Issues the driver travel expense review report to notify operations of any findings. Registers accounts payable (invoices, credit cards, leases, advances, taxes, among others) in the system, ensuring correct accrual by verifying the appropriate cost center and accounting account assignment. Reviews and verifies invoices according to the Tax Statute regulations and their respective purchase orders. Creates, registers, and updates third parties (suppliers, customers, personnel, third-party drivers) in the system’s master database. Activates supplier invoicing resolutions in the system to enable invoice submission. · SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day; two days working from home. LOCATION: Next to Gran Estación Bogota.
