Position Summary: Aptar is seeking a Production Apprentice to support operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement at its Palmira, Colombia plant. Key Highlights: 1. We operate manufacturing facilities in North America, Europe, Asia, and South America, and employ over 14\.000 dedicated professionals across approximately 20 countries. **WHAT’S NEW AT APTAR?** We have an exciting opening at our Palmira, Colombia plant: Production Apprentice reporting to the Production and Maintenance Coordinator. **Responsibilities:** * Comply with the company’s industrial safety guidelines * Comply with Aptar’s Integrated Management Policy * Receive inductions and training on the operation of production equipment * Handover and takeover of the assigned production machine during shift changes * Receive inductions and training on notification processes, material consumption, and closing of manufacturing orders in SAP * Independently perform and maintain inspection and cleaning of the assigned machine * Keep material hoppers loaded with sufficient components to ensure uninterrupted operation * Participate in continuous improvement processes defined by the company * Notify technicians or supervisors of machine or operational issues that cannot be resolved and/or product deviations * Enter equipment performance data and support analysis to identify improvement opportunities * Record all quantities produced or consumed, times, and events occurring during the process * Execute production instructions such as labeling, packing, and box handling **Required Profile:** * Technical degree in industrial fields (e.g., electrical, electronics, mechanical, automation, etc.) * Proficiency in Windows Office (Word, Excel, etc.) * Basic knowledge of mechanics, arithmetic, statistics, tools, and units of measurement **WHY WORK WITH US:** * We attract and develop high-performing individuals * We foster a diverse and inclusive workplace * We embrace mistakes by enabling people to iterate within an open and trusting environment * We invest in employee development through local, regional, and global professional opportunities * We contribute to the communities where we operate.
