





DESCRIPTION Job Description: "The professional must be oriented toward process control in shift-based operations, responsible for controlling, monitoring, and analyzing processes executed on the Control-M and DataStage platforms, versions 8.7 through 11.5. Analyze process errors in DataStage as well as identify database queries; must possess technical proficiency in the DataStage tool. Will maintain constant communication with the client, whether for escalation due to incidents, critical processes, or other events." Main Responsibilities: .- Documentation .- Monitor and control the process flow (job stream) in Control-M and DataStage, and identify their status. .- Identify and analyze process errors on the DataStage platform. .- Identify delayed processes in the database. .- Identify process areas and disk usage in Linux or similar operating system environments. .- Clearly explain identified errors and analyze possible solutions. .- Direct communication with clients and support teams. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications: .- Basic knowledge of DataStage versions 8.7 to 11.5. .- Basic knowledge of Oracle, Netezza, and SybaseIQ databases (not requiring expertise in all is not exclusionary). .- Basic knowledge of Unix operating systems or similar platforms. Skills: .- Attention to detail. .- Logical and critical reasoning ability. .- Writing skills for report and documentation preparation. .- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team. .- Adaptability to change.
