Posting Date: 20 Jul 2026 City: Bogota Location: Bogota, CO, 110221 Contract Type: Permanent Division: Energy Project Solutions Level of experience: Senior RINA is hiring a **Geotechnical Engineer (Wind Farm)** to work at the client’s site in **La Guajira.** **Mission** ---------- Ensure that soil and slope conditions support construction works (roads, platforms, foundations) by managing geotechnical risks and implementing appropriate solutions. \#LI\-AM2 **Responsibilities** --------------------- Review and validate geotechnical investigations; define excavation and soil improvement criteria. Monitor slope, cut, and fill stability; recommend mitigation measures. Approve material sources, compaction control, and testing procedures. Respond to rainfall-related events: erosion, landslides, settlements. Support design/methodology adjustments due to real-world conditions. **Deliverables / Evidence** Geotechnical evaluation reports and field recommendations. Test records and compliance documentation for materials/compaction. Mitigation plan and monitoring of critical points. Suggested KPIs Geotechnical incidents (landslides/settlements) and response time. Compliance with compaction and material specifications. **Typical Interfaces:** Civil Coordinator, Surveying, Laboratory, Environmental, Design/Engineering. **Requirements** -------------- **GENERAL EXPERIENCE:** Professional with over 9 years of general experience in the Energy Sector. **SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:** Professional with over 3 years of specific experience in the relevant field and 1 year in wind farm projects. **Recommended Requirements** Civil Engineer with specialization/experience in geotechnics. 5\+ years in geotechnics for infrastructure and construction on complex terrain. **Competencies and Tools** Stability analysis; field judgment; risk management.
