The Employment Management and Placement Agency Confa is recruiting, for one of our client companies, the position of: Payroll Analyst Educational Level: Technician, Technologist, or Professional in Accounting or related fields. Experience: 12 months in payroll preparation, social benefits, and social security. Knowledge: Basic accounting (records and expenses). · Responsibilities: - Process payroll. - Calculate salaries, overtime hours, surcharges, commissions, bonuses, and deductions. - Verify personnel events such as disabilities, vacations, leaves of absence, and absences. - Administer social security and benefits. - Calculate contributions to health, pensions, occupational risk insurance (ARL), and compensation funds. - Calculate social benefits: bonus, severance pay, severance interest, and vacations. - Ensure legal compliance. - Guarantee that payroll complies with current labor and tax legislation. - Correctly apply income tax withholding on salaries and legal deductions. - Database and system management. - Update employee information. - Generate reports and reconciliations. - Prepare reports for accounting, human resources, and auditing. - Review inconsistencies among payroll, social security, and accounting. - Address employee inquiries. - Resolve questions regarding payments, deductions, vacations, or employment certificates. - Support internal or external audits. - Prepare documentation for internal or external reviews. - Perform related duties. · Contractual Conditions: - Contract Type: Fixed-term contract. - Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM; Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. - Salary: 1 to 2 minimum monthly legal wages (SMMLV). - Personal transportation is mandatory. - Requirements: - Minimum Education: University degree / Technical program. - 1 year of experience. - Keywords: analyst
