At **Técnica Electromédica S.A.**, we seek a proactive, responsible, and service-oriented **Biomedical Technician** who wishes to join a team focused on ensuring the quality, safety, and optimal performance of medical technology. **Main Responsibilities** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on biomedical equipment to ensure proper functionality. * Receive, inspect, and diagnose biomedical equipment entering the service laboratory. * Record and maintain up-to-date logs of all activities performed and equipment serviced. * Send technical diagnostic reports for inspected equipment via email within the established five (5) business days. * Notify and deliver to the metrology department any equipment requiring calibration procedures according to the service order. * Perform disinfection and technical verification of equipment before and after intervention. **Academic Qualifications** * Technologist or professional degree in Biomedical Engineering. **Experience** * Minimum two (2) years of experience in biomedical technical service, hospital equipment maintenance, or technical support in the healthcare sector. **Requirements** * Valid INVIMA registration and professional license. * Experience with various brands (Mindray, Baxter, Seca, Hillrom) and handling of surgical, ICU, and imaging equipment; proficiency in ultrasound systems is essential. * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Familiarity with web platforms and technical record-keeping systems. * Proficiency in using biomedical analyzers and simulators. * Knowledge of metrology processes for medical equipment. * English language proficiency (Desirable) **Competencies** * Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities. * Service orientation. **Working Conditions** * **Contract Type:** Fixed-term contract. * **Salary:** $1\.750\.905 * **Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. * **Willingness to Travel:** Yes. **What We Offer** * Professional growth opportunities and career development plan. * Continuous training in biomedical technology. * Participation in technical projects within the healthcare sector. * A professional, collaborative, and excellence-oriented work environment.
