We are looking for top talent — you’re invited to join the Commercial Team of ASSA ABLOY Colombia as a **Sales Executive \- Channel Constructor for door security solutions.**
Location: Bogotá.
The primary purpose of this position is to manage and expand ASSA ABLOY’s portfolio of door security solutions through a consultative sales strategy targeting distributors, system integrators, door OEMs, construction companies, and end users. The objective is to achieve sustainable commercial results in the short, medium, and long term while reinforcing the brand’s presence in the Colombian market. Additionally, this role is responsible for driving growth and positioning strategies to support the achievement of commercial objectives.
**What are we looking for?**
**Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Courses in consultative selling, key account management, or negotiation.**
**Requirements:**
Minimum 5 years of B2B and/or B2C sales experience, preferably in the construction sector. Proficiency in AutoCAD or design tools. Demonstrated experience in key account management and business development.
Intermediate English (B1)
In-depth knowledge of door and access functionality and/or security solutions, including hardware and software.
Ability to interpret architectural drawings, electrical schematics, and project specification sheets.
Understanding of the construction process to anticipate optimal intervention timing (door, frame, and hardware installation).
Familiarity with public and private tender processes.
Proficiency in specification software (e.g., Openings Studio, basic AutoCAD, optional 3D design tools).
Types of hardware: hinges, door closers, panic bars, handles, mechanical and electronic locks.
Applicable standards: ANSI/BHMA, ADA, UL, NFPA.
Specification criteria based on traffic type (high, medium, low), security requirements, door type, and function (emergency exit, restricted access, etc.).
Compatibility among hardware components and doors (strength, materials, mounting).
Understanding of security needs and challenges across different industries (hospitality, education, healthcare, etc.).
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and execute customized customer account plans to achieve commercial objectives.
* Identify and capitalize on business opportunities within existing and new accounts to generate recurring monthly sales.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in target sectors.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure delivery of appropriate solutions and technical support.
* Monitor market trends and competitors to adjust commercial strategies.
* Participate in trade fairs, events, and networking activities to promote the brand and products.
* Use CRM tools to track and analyze commercial activities.
* Manage and develop key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth.
* Identify new business opportunities and drive market expansion.
**Salary:** To be agreed upon based on experience (Base \+ Commissions)
