At Goloso, we are looking for a committed, organized, and detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to ensure the accurate execution of payroll, social security, and labor compliance processes within our organization.
- Key Responsibilities
* Record payroll-related events such as overtime hours, commissions, allowances, statutory and non-statutory bonuses.
* Manage authorized deductions including those for loans, treasury, employee funds, payroll deductions (libranzas), wage garnishments, and other legally permitted items.
* Prepare contract settlements, vacation payouts, and other statutory labor benefits in accordance with current regulations.
* Process payroll advances and execute the full monthly payroll cycle.
* Review and validate payroll jointly with the Human Resources Management team.
* Generate and verify social benefit settlements (bonus, severance pay, and interest on severance pay).
* Manage and validate social security processes, ensuring legal compliance.
* Submit payment files to Treasury in a timely manner.
* Perform accounting distribution, payroll journal entries, and monthly payroll closing.
Ensure correct calculation and application of income tax withholding on labor income.
* Review and reconcile payroll-related accounting accounts.
* Coordinate parameterization and validation processes with payroll software vendors.
* Support internal and external audit requests.
* Assist in preparing information for financial reporting and accounting closings.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable Colombian labor regulations and propose process improvements.
* Administer and safeguard payroll documentation under confidentiality and traceability criteria.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and reliability.
- Requirements
* University degree in Public Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in comprehensive payroll and social security processes.
* Knowledge of Colombian labor legislation, social benefits, and income tax withholding.
* Proficiency in MANAGER payroll software and office tools, especially intermediate or advanced Excel.
* Prior experience in accounting reconciliations and payroll closings is desirable.
