Job Summary: The AWS Cloud Migration Leader plans, leads, and governs the migration of applications and infrastructure to AWS, ensuring operational continuity and cost optimization. Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage risks AWS Cloud Migration Leader The AWS Cloud Migration Leader is responsible for planning, leading, and governing the migration of applications and infrastructure to AWS, ensuring operational continuity, regulatory compliance, cost optimization, and adoption of cloud best practices. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the AWS migration strategy (rehost, replatform, and future evolution). Lead wave-based planning and application portfolio prioritization. Design and validate secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures. Coordinate cross-functional teams (infrastructure, architecture, security, development, and business). Ensure adoption of governance, security, and FinOps practices. Manage risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans throughout the migration. Measure and report key metrics on progress, costs, performance, and stability. Promote knowledge transfer and adoption of the cloud operating model. Knowledge and Experience Proven experience leading AWS migrations in enterprise environments. Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.). Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, security, and automation (IaC). Experience in regulated and highly critical environments (ideally financial sector). Knowledge of Windows, Linux operating systems, and middleware WebLogic and IIS, and databases Oracle, MSSQL, Sybase. Familiarity with agile methodologies and technology project management. Key Skills Technical leadership and decision-making ability. Effective communication with technical teams and executives. Change management and results orientation. Strategic thinking with a focus on business value. Desired Certifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional). AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalents.
