We are looking for civil engineers for the position of **Planning and Projects Director in Cali.** **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. * **>5 years of experience** leading construction site teams and contractors, project planning, budgeting, construction, and delivery of finishing works, framed structures, industrialized systems, masonry, and structural reinforcement. * Proficiency in construction management tools and blueprint reading (Project, Excel, Microsoft Office). * Must reside in Cali. **Job Purpose:** * Lead, plan, and supervise the comprehensive execution of all company construction projects, ensuring compliance with time, cost, quality, and safety targets. Responsible for leading the technical team (supervisors, resident engineers, and site personnel), ensuring proper implementation of operational guidelines, and promoting efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement across all projects. Main Responsibilities: * Plan, direct, and supervise the technical and administrative execution of all construction projects. * Lead the team of Construction Coordinators, providing mentoring, monitoring, and operational support. * Ensure compliance with schedules, budgets, quantity take-offs, and project specifications. * Make strategic decisions regarding unforeseen events, deviations, or risks affecting proper project development. * Review and approve schedules, budgets, unit price analyses (APU), progress reports, and technical requirements. * Coordinate with procurement, accounting, SSTMA (Safety, Health, Environment, and Occupational Risk Management), legal, and general management to ensure appropriate information flow, resource allocation, and support. * Supervise on-site execution, verifying quality standards, industrial safety, and contractual compliance. * Resolve technical or operational conflicts by proposing agile and effective solutions. * Implement best construction practices to optimize timelines, resources, and costs. * Monitor key performance indicators (physical progress, deviations, consumption, costs, productivity, deliveries). * Lead and motivate the team, fostering a collaborative, disciplined, and results-oriented work culture. * Ensure partial and final deliveries under optimal conditions, meeting technical and client requirements. * Represent the company technically before clients, third-party inspectors, and external entities when required.
