About Jacinth\-Ambrosia Jacinth\-Ambrosia is located 270 kilometres north of the Port of Thevenard, near Ceduna. It is the world’s largest source of zircon, and a Tier 1 deposit with extensive reserves. It is the first mining development in a mixed\-use regional reserve – the Yellabina Regional Reserve – in South Australia, with the operation demonstrating a commitment to high environmental standards and progressive land rehabilitation. About The Role The primary role of the Technical Services Manager is to provide leadership of the mining contractor and technical services team to ensure alignment with company objectives. As a major operational management role, this position offers the opportunity to make a real difference by championing improvements, building great teams and challenging the norm. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be accountable for the following:* Providing professional technical support to ensure optimal mining and technical services activities * Leading the mining engineering, geology, survey and earthworks departments to maximise value to the business across the entire operation * Promoting a culture of continuous improvement as a member of the Jacinth Ambrosia Leadership team, and acting as the single point of accountability for site in the absence of the Operations Manager * Dealing effectively as the senior representative with major contracts directly associated with the mining operation * Developing workable solutions to complex and unique issues in an environment characterised by conflicting priorities and financial and resource restraints * Building effective relationships with other operational sites and corporate functions to increase profitability across the entire value chain * Be the Tailings Responsible Person for the Jacinth Ambrosia site, supported by the centralised technical function About You To be considered for this role, you will have* Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering preferred * Demonstrated understanding of mineral separation techniques and engineering processes with considerable experience in technical operations and mine planning * Demonstrated competence in a management role in a major resource environment, specialising in the provision of technical services support, managing, motivating and leading teams and implementing change * Proven leadership, verbal and written communication skills Our Offer To You* Be supported through an inclusive and collaborative culture * Up to 18 Weeks paid parental leave for primary caregivers * Ability to purchase additional annual Leave * Competitive salary and bonus structures * Company share matching scheme You will be supported, empowered, included and encouraged to be the best version of yourself.
