




Position Summary: Coordinate and strengthen community-based and early childhood center environmental processes, promoting citizen participation and environmental sustainability. Position Objective: Support and strengthen environmental processes carried out with communities and early childhood centers, ensuring compliance with established technical guidelines and promoting citizen participation in environmental protection and sustainability actions. Professional in Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Administration, or related fields. Experience in community work, environmental education, and social participation. Skills in formulating, implementing, and monitoring environmental projects. Ability to work in teams, exercise leadership, and engage effectively with communities. Design, implement, and support environmental education programs targeting children, adolescents, youth, and women within the framework of the initiatives. - Promote community participation in advocacy and mobilization actions with an environmental focus. - Lead community awareness, training, and appropriation processes for environmental care and protection. - Strengthen environmental advocacy laboratories through the consolidation and support of community gardens. - Disseminate environmental actions, achievements, and experiences through various communication channels. - Support the identification of opportunities, formulation, and submission of projects and initiatives oriented toward sustainable development and environmental protection. Conduct follow-up, monitoring, and evaluation of activities outlined in the proposal and the environmental line, with IDEC’s accompaniment. Prepare management reports and reports related to the execution of assigned activities. - Ensure timely and high-quality implementation of specific activities required for the proposal’s execution. Availability is required for in-person accompaniment at various early childhood centers and communities linked to the project, actively participating in environmental, training, and territorial articulation activities.
