A leading company in the manufacturing sector, located in **Bogotá**, is seeking a **Mechanical Drafter** with proven experience in mechanical design for its team. **Requirements:** * **Education:** Technical or technological degree in mechanical drawing or design. * **Experience:** At least **1 year** performing similar duties. * **Essential skills:** Advanced knowledge of **AutoCAD** (practical test will be administered). **Main Responsibilities:** * Create 2D drawings and 3D models for mechanical manufacturing projects. * Generate and maintain updated **bills of materials** and submit material requests. * Support **manufacturing, cutting, and bending** processes by ensuring accurate part dimensions. * Perform **on-site measurement, digitization, and validation of dimensions**. * Prepare, create, and review **working drawings** from sketches and technical specifications for the **manufacturing, installation, and assembly of machinery**. * Develop **fabrication and assembly drawings**, as well as visualizations for **disassembly of parts and components**. **Technical Knowledge:** * Mechanical design. * Principles of mechanics and metalworking. * Interpretation and reading of mechanical drawings.
