Job Description:
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer or related field professional for our Installation Department! We are an air conditioning company seeking a committed and experienced professional to maintain our standards of excellence.
**Responsibilities:**
· Lead planning and execution of HVAC installation projects from inception to handover.
· Develop and monitor construction schedules, progress reports, management reports, and progress control.
· Coordinate contractor teams and outsourced services to ensure timely and quality execution.
· Analyze and manage detailed budgets and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) by system and activity.
· Submit purchase requests, manage supplies, and ensure timely availability on site.
· Address technical or construction-related issues in coordination with the site team and design responsible personnel.
· Conduct project site visits at frequencies stipulated by the unit management and fulfill required actions.
· Maintain continuous communication with construction companies, third-party inspectors (interventorías), and project managers.
· Interpret HVAC system drawings, specifications, and technical documents (design documents, specifications, drawings, technical data sheets).
· Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning processes, ensuring compliance with testing procedures and standards.
· Request support from other business units when necessary to address issues and deliver high-level technical service.
**Requirements:**
* University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Experience in engineering project development for air conditioning systems.
* HVAC system installation and commissioning projects.
* VRF systems, chillers, fan coils, ductwork, diffusers, basic automation.
* Reading and interpretation of HVAC drawings.
* Certification processes, commissioning, and functional testing.
* BOQs (Bill of Quantities), budgeting, quotations, cost control.
