Company dedicated to the manufacturing and marketing of Tools for the mining, geotechnical and civil works sector, is currently looking for a Lathe-Milling Machinist with at least 5 years of certifiable experience. Functions: \- Manufacture high-precision mechanical parts using milling machines and conventional lathes according to the company's needs. \- Must have knowledge in reading workshop drawings, precision measuring instruments such as analog and digital calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, dial indicators, etc. \- Proficiency in lathe operations (threading, turning, boring, among others). \- Prepare required materials for execution of production processes. \- Perform visual inspection of geometry and dimensions of the intended cut. \- Cut material according to technical specifications. \- Complete area documentation and update inventory records. \- Apply various dimensional control techniques to verify compliance with specifications stated in design drawings and/or received samples. Execute process corrections when necessary. \- Prepare setups and commission machinery to carry out the manufacturing process. Academic Requirements: \- High school graduate and/or industrial mechanical technician. Requirements: \- Minimum 5 years of experience operating machines, specifically conventional lathe and milling machines. \- Must reside in southern Antioquia Salary: Negotiable.
