




Job Summary: Ambulance driver responsible for safe, punctual driving and vehicle maintenance, supporting healthcare staff and ensuring humanized care. Key Highlights: 1. Position: Ambulance Driver · Responsibilities: - Drive the assigned vehicle, strictly complying with current traffic regulations and guidelines established in the Road Safety Strategic Plan (PESV). Ensure punctuality at patient pickup and transfer points, adhering to scheduled times and performing local, municipal, departmental, and national transfers as required by service needs. Conduct periodic inspections of the assigned vehicle, immediately reporting any incidents, malfunctions, or irregularities to prevent major damage and ensure optimal operation. Promptly report any damage or anomalies detected in the vehicle to facilitate scheduling and execution of corresponding maintenance. Assume responsibility for and manage before competent authorities any traffic violations or fines recorded in SIMIT attributable to the worker’s conduct. Support healthcare staff (Nursing Assistant and Physician) in patient transportation and stretcher handling during admission and transfer, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and humanized care. Timely, truthful, and complete completion of company-established records, including: Maintenance Assistance Form Carry the institutional ID card visibly and permanently during working hours. Use daily the equipment provided by the company, maintaining it in proper cleanliness, presentation, and condition. Maintain respectful, courteous, and professional interactions with patients, family members, and healthcare personnel, ensuring humanized care. Foster workplace relationships based on respect, assertive communication, and teamwork. Ensure the ambulance remains in optimal conditions of cleanliness, hygiene, order, and presentation, in accordance with biosafety protocols. Guarantee confidentiality of information accessed during the performance of duties. Actively participate in training, wellness, and organizational development activities arranged by the company. Comply with standards, policies, regulations, and instructions of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SG-SST). Attend and participate in occupational medical evaluations scheduled by the employer. Promote comprehensive personal health care, adhering to medical recommendations and restrictions issued by occupational health professionals. Provide truthful and complete information regarding one’s health status during medical evaluations. Promptly inform the employer and the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee (COPASST) about hazards and risks identified in the workplace.
