Job Summary: A prominent company is seeking a Biomedical Engineer to design, develop, and evaluate medical and clinical diagnostic equipment, biological products, and procedures, providing advisory services and conducting research. Hospital technology management and training for healthcare professionals A prominent company requires a Biomedical Engineer for its team to perform the following duties: - Design, develop, and evaluate medical and clinical diagnostic equipment and procedures, biological and health-related products—including artificial organs, assistive devices for persons with disabilities, prostheses, and instrumentation—and provide advisory services regarding their implantation, use, and installation. - Design devices used in various medical procedures and imaging systems—such as magnetic resonance imaging—and devices for automating insulin injections or controlling bodily functions. - Analyze rehabilitation, replacement, physiological modeling, biological problem simulation, and control systems, procedures, and devices in biomedical engineering. - Detect, measure, and monitor physiological signals using biosensors and biomedical instrumentation. - Lead and participate in research related to new materials for implanted artificial organs, development of new biological products, biotechnology, tissue engineering, and diagnostic instruments. - Coordinate the design and development of telemetry systems, biomedical sensors, expert systems for disease diagnosis and treatment, closed-loop drug administration control systems, sports medicine instrumentation, and communication aids for persons with disabilities. - Manage hospital and clinical technology; advise on and evaluate new technologies for adoption and oversee technology acquisition processes. - Conduct and manage training for healthcare professionals on the safe use of technology, and regularly supervise and monitor healthcare technology. - Perform related duties.
