Job Summary: Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on vertical transportation equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation. Key Highlights: 1. Position: Elevator and Escalator Maintenance Technician Department: Operations and Maintenance Reports to: Maintenance Coordinator / Technical Manager Position Objective Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities on elevators, escalators, moving walkways, and other vertical transportation equipment, ensuring their safe, efficient, and code-compliant operation in accordance with current technical and safety standards. Main Responsibilities Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on elevators and escalators. Diagnose and correct mechanical, electrical, and electronic failures of equipment. Respond to emergencies and service calls to restore equipment operation. Perform adjustments, repairs, and component replacements as required. Verify proper operation of safety, control, and maneuvering systems. Complete technical reports, work orders, and maintenance forms. Comply with industrial safety and safe working-at-heights protocols where applicable. Promptly inform supervisors of anomalies, risks, or equipment modernization needs. Maintain tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment in optimal condition.
