




Job Summary: Support the implementation and compliance of SGI policies and procedures, ensuring industrial and environmental safety in the workplace. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support the SGI SSTA management in implementing activities 2. Inspect work areas and the use of personal protective equipment 3. Participate in the development and review of risk assessments Support the SGI SSTA management in implementing the Annual Work Plan activities in the assigned work front. Inspect work areas to ensure workers under supervision comply with SGI policies, standards, and procedures, and report daily to the HSE Manager any unsafe acts or conditions identified. Participate in the development and review of risk assessments, environmental aspects and impacts matrix, job safety analysis, and collaborate in training and instruction for workers, delivering industrial safety topics. Advise supervisors on how to manage industrial safety related to significant aspects of their work. Continuously inspect workers’ use of personal protective equipment. Be familiar with job positions and the associated risks for each. Support the issuance of required work permits for each task, including respective supporting documents or attachments. Support verification, through inspection, of the good condition of equipment or tools to be used, and report any anomalies found to the supervisor. Halt activities due to non-compliance with Safety and Environmental regulations and ensure corrective actions are taken. Respond to and report occupational and environmental accidents or incidents. Verify compliance with safety regulations in processes. Conduct daily safety talks with workers. Submit weekly HSE management reports to the HSE Coordinator. Participate in investigation teams for incidents, occupational accidents, and occupational diseases. Implement and follow up on action plans derived from investigations of incidents, occupational accidents, and occupational diseases. Coordinate order and cleanliness at workstations.
